Bilberry Extract

Bilberry can be used for reducing the load of xenoestrogens among people who are ingesting rBGH (growth hormones) via their consumption of animal products. Excess estrogen due to exposure to plastics, herbicides, and other environmental toxins are also critical health issues. Our bilberry is made with both leaves and berries. The leaves are high in tannins and the berries contain anthocyanosides.

Peumus Boldo

This herb comes from the Chilean Andes and has a marvelous minty aroma.  It is a stomachic and digestive aid, particularly beneficial for people with a tendency towards gall stone formation, especially when such conditions give rise to pain. It is also useful for genito-urinary inflammations. In South America, it is regarded as a cure for gonorrhea.  Further north, it is considered useful for hepatic congestion and is often used by veterinarians for jaundice. It contains a chemical constituent very similar to chenopodium and is thus often used for intestinal parasites or as a substitute for quinine.

Holy Basil

Tulsi is an herb that is widely used in India as a purifier of space. Morning rituals are performed in somewhat the same manner as Native Americans might smudge a sacred place. It is gaining a reputation as a major herb for stimulating pancreatic function and lowering blood sugar as well as cholesterol. Tulsi may also be a COX-2 inhibitor as it contains the same pain relieving eugenol as known analgesics. Like most carminatives, it promotes inner calmness and aids sleep.

Vincaloids: Madagascar Periwinkle

Ethnobotanical uses of this plant are primarily directed towards blood sugar regulation.  It is a favorite among diabetics in the Caribbean.

Cherokee Extract [was called Ahimsa]: Bloodroot/Galangal Blend

These are the two main herbs in the black salve, the bloodroot escharotic.  Here, they are combined, without zinc chloride, so that they can be used externally on delicate tissues such as the eyelids; or, they can be safely taken in moderation internally.

Cherokee Salve

We have decided to offer a bloodroot salve that is very close to the formula used to make escharotic salves with zinc chloride; however, ours is a purely botanical product and does not contain zinc chloride or any other chemicals.  Because it would not be stable in a water base, it has an oil base.  It contains bloodroot and galangal and has been named in honor of the Native Americans who originated the treatment:  Cherokee Salve.  It comes in different size containers, up to 500 mg. in weight.  It will only be made available to known practitioners because skill in modifying the product to achieve the desire result is in the hands of the user.  As with the Base Ointment for Enucleating Salves, the strength and aggressivity of the product is completely in the user's hands.  We are merely providing the proper herbs.

Tulsi Ear Oil

Tulsi Ear Oil

Yellow Dock Elixir

For a long time, we produced a yellow dock glycerite based on the work of Dr. John Christopher.  It was used to rebuild red blood cells.  This replacement of the original product combines Rumex crispus with Celastrus scandens and Scrophularia nodosa, two of the main ingredients in the Seneca Elixir.  It is extracted in organic grain alcohol, vegetable glycerine, and distilled water and then blended with pure blackstrap molasses.
