    Illumination extravaganza…. 15 artists come together to Create an extraordinary exhibition of light in an underground crypt. Illumini, curated by Jane Webb. An electrifying new exhibition with a difference, starting with a opening night on the 4th Sept, which is complimented with a full evening of free live entertainment from fire performers, stilt walkers, jugglers, light shows. and performance artists, working with illumination taking place through out the crypt. This is no PV night, this is an evening where everybody is welcome, Illumini will not just showcase art it will entertain, introducing all communities that may not normally visit the arts to a different approach. Illumini brings together a variety of artists, all sharing a passion for the subject of light. Set in the famous St Pancras crypt, these impressive pieces of artwork come to life in this desolate and unsettling environment. Come along to experience the illuminatory and dazzling effect this diverse collection of artwork has on the crypt’s dark environment. Travel down abandoned corridors and venture into secret recesses to explore a wide variety of artwork. The pieces range from photographs and paintings depicting light, to sculptural works that literally glow; at once transforming the crypt’s murky and shadowy atmosphere like never before.

These include chant, dance, personal development and meditation. The SYC is a registered charity supporting children with special needs through one-to-one yoga therapy, outreach work in schools, group classes and parent support groups.

  • The Affordable Art Fair
    The Affordable Art Fair returns to Battersea Park, London with its Spring Collection from the 13 - 16 March 2008. Approximately 120 galleries, many new to the fair, will exhibit a fresh line-up of paintings, sculpture, photography and original prints - all priced between £30 and £3,000.     The Elgin Food Pub and Live Music Venue in Ladbroke Grove, is hosting a very special rock ‘n’ roll exhibition featuring Rock Family Trees by Pete Frame, iconic photographs by Peter Anderson and a series of live music performances. The legendary Rock Family Trees of Pete Frame have covered the history of bands such as The Velvet Underground, The Smiths and Roxy Music, whilst Anderson’s photography portfolio includes rock idols such as The Rolling Stones, Iggy Pop and Joe Strummer.

  • London Bridge Hospital
    The first City Heart Week has been developed to raise awareness of the importance of heart health, particularly among city workers. This year, London Bridge Hospital has joined forces with the charity Arrhythmia Alliance to raise particular attention to the condition arrhythmia. Up to 1 million people are affected by this condition without actually realising it. Undiagnosed, in some cases, the condition can be fatal. During the week, FREE heartbeat checks are being offered at London Bridge's outpatient centre, 31 Old Broad Street. Onsite visits and information sessions can also be arranged within your organisation.

    PREVIEW NIGHTS: 12th-13th Oct, 6-9pm The Lennox Gallery is proud to announce Endri Kosturi’s solo exhibition “Unwiped Windows” from the 11th to the 17th of October. After the show in Paris in 2007, Kosturi is presenting a new series of informal paintings in his signature medium of acrylic on canvas and print at his first London exhibition, UK premiere. „Unwiped Windows” takes us to Verona or perhaps any other city in the world, where on old walls and windows one can see a mark of passing time, the emotions embedded with a smudge of a finger or an incise of a stone or a key.
