Based in Islington in London, UK, Sesame is a gallery dedicated to discovering and promoting emerging artists, as well as presenting curated shows that reflect exciting new movements in contemporary art. Established in 2003, the gallery has developed a strong focus on painting, representing artists whose work combines a sound knowledge of what has gone before it with a desire to break new ground in a way that is both historically informed and innovative.
